Jamie Dawson
President
Jamie Dawson is the Founder and President of Aspire Real Estate + Development and Aspire Homes in Raleigh, North Carolina. With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, land brokerage, development, and construction, he specializes in guiding projects from acquisition through completion. An Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), Jamie is known for his practical, relationship-driven approach to development.
Amir Aziz
Business Manager
Amir Aziz is the Business Head at Aspire Homes and a Partner at Aspire Real Estate + Development. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, he moved to the United States in 2001 and earned a degree in Business Economics from The College of Wooster. With over 20 years of experience running businesses across real estate, international trade, and travel, Amir brings a diverse perspective and a passion for building successful projects and lasting relationships.
Adam Hancock
Construction Manager
J Adam Hancock is a third-generation homebuilder from Louisville, Kentucky. He brings a keen aesthetic sense, 20 years of building experience and construction management to Aspire. With a passion for building, he takes pride in finding creative ways to blend architectural craftsmanship with comfortable functionality.
Derrick Sabol
Project Manager
Derrick Sabol brings over 20 years of construction industry experience to Aspire Homes. A graduate of UNC Charlotte, his background includes work with Habitat for Humanity, facilities maintenance, land development, project management, and residential and commercial construction. Over the past decade, he has specialized in managing new home builds, renovations, and historic restorations. As Project Manager, Derrick combines strong communication and organizational skills to help ensure successful project delivery.
Adele Sweetwood
Selection and Design Coordinator
As Aspire Homes’ Design and Selection Coordinator, Adele combines strong project management skills with a passion for interior design. She guides clients through the selections process, ensuring every choice aligns with the project vision, budget, and schedule. Drawing on her background as a marketing leader in the technology sector, Adele brings creativity, exceptional communication, and meticulous attention to detail. Her experience spans historic restorations and contemporary homes, with a particular appreciation for antiques and timeless design.
Eric Plant
Site Supervisor
Eric Plant is a Raleigh native with over 20 years of construction experience. Skilled in both rough and finish carpentry, as well as tile work, he developed a broad range of expertise throughout his career, including time spent in Alaska working in remote construction environments. After nearly a decade as a trusted Aspire Homes subcontractor, Eric joined the team full-time in 2022 as a Site Supervisor, bringing exceptional craftsmanship and field leadership to every project.
Kyle Funke
Assistant Construction Coordinator
Kyle is an Assistant Construction Coordinator at Aspire Homes, supporting residential construction projects from planning through completion. He works closely with project managers to keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with quality standards. Passionate about homebuilding and client satisfaction, Kyle is currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Construction Management at Wake Technical Community College.
